Dr Sanjay Kumar Yadav (MBBS – BPKIHS, MS – AIIMS, FACS) is a Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary (HPB) and Liver Transplant Surgeon with over a decade of experience in HPB and liver transplant surgery. He has been involved in more than 1,000 liver transplant surgeries and played an important role in starting liver transplant services at Chitwan Medical College (CMC), Chitwan in 2021.
He currently works as a Consultant, HPB & Liver Transplant Surgeon at Narayana Super-speciality Hospital, Gurugram. His goal is to help make Nepal self-reliant in liver transplantation and to promote brain-death organ donation.

With a decade of experience as a Liver Transplant Surgeon and Hepatobiliary surgeon, Dr Yadav has carried out more than 1,000 liver transplants and over 500 additional complex surgeries involving the liver, gall bladder, and bile ducts.








More than a decade of saving lives & providing a greater service
Dr. Yadav with his team has completed the highest number of liver transplants for Nepali patients in both Nepal and India.
In 2018, Dr. Yadav received special recognition from the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS). He established the Liver Transplant Center at Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur, Nepal, and currently performs liver transplants at Nepal Medicity in Kathmandu.
